Make the WordPress Login Logo Lead Somewhere Relevant

• The logo above the WordPress login form is also a link. On the default screen, that link points to WordPress.org rather than back to the website the visitor is trying to access. For a company site or client portal, you may prefer that familiar visual element to lead to the company homepage, a help destination, or another page that makes sense within the site's own experience.
• Custom Login Logo Link changes that destination without changing how users authenticate. Clicking the logo follows the selected URL; submitting the login form continues through the existing WordPress sign-in process. This distinction keeps the feature focused. You are providing a deliberate navigation path from the login screen, not configuring where every user should land after a successful login or adding a separate redirect rule for the entire website.

Use the Homepage or a Different Destination

• The homepage is the default because it provides a straightforward return path from sign-in to the public website. An administrator does not have to enter a custom URL simply to replace the WordPress.org link. When a different destination is useful, the module provides one URL field. That can support a site with a separate corporate homepage or a chosen help page, rather than limiting the link to a particular WordPress content type.
• The setting accepts external destinations as well; it is not restricted to the same origin as the login page. Empty or invalid values fall back to the homepage instead of becoming the intended destination. The module also does not add a new-tab target. These are deliberately modest controls: one configured link, a predictable fallback, and no separate per-role routing or post-login navigation policy implied by the feature.

Finish the Branding Beyond the Logo Image

• The link module also changes the login-header text to the website's name, keeping that label aligned with the site rather than leaving it associated with the default WordPress branding. It does not provide a separate custom-label editor, replace the image, or style the form. For a simple client handover, that clear division is useful: choose the logo in one place, choose its destination in the other, and leave the normal authentication interface intact.
