Overview

Overrides WordPress excerpt length and “read more” text on the front end (high priority filters). Set a word count (default 55; 0 leaves core length alone) and optional read-more wording with %link% support for a permalink. Manual excerpts you type in the editor are not auto-shortened—this module targets generated excerpts.
