Coming Soon & Maintenance

Coming-soon or maintenance landing pages; staff and allowed roles bypass to the real site.

Overview

Coming Soon & Maintenance lets you show a coming soon page (with countdown, email signup, social links) or a simple maintenance page to visitors while you build or update your site. Admins and whitelisted roles bypass automatically and see the normal site. Lightweight, secure, responsive. When active, feeds return 503. Preview mode lets you see the page before going live. Email signup stores subscribers for launch notifications.

Who is this for?
Site owners launching a new site, agencies building client sites, or anyone who needs a temporary "under construction" or maintenance page.

Features

Two Modes
Coming Soon: Countdown, email signup, social links, custom styling. Maintenance: Simple "Site under maintenance" message.
Bypass for Admins
Users with manage_options see the normal site. No need to disable to work.
Role Whitelist
Whitelist additional roles (e.g. Editor) to bypass. Customizable.
Email Signup
Collect emails for launch notifications. Stored in the database.
503 for Feeds
When active, RSS/Atom feeds return 503. Tells search engines the site is temporarily unavailable.
Preview Mode
Preview the page before enabling. See how it looks without affecting visitors.
