Custom Post Order
Overview
Drag-and-drop reordering for posts, pages, and custom post types using WordPress menu_order. Reorder in the list table, save via AJAX, and optionally apply that order on the front-end main query, archives, search, and/or admin lists. Defaults favor posts/pages with list DnD and front-end main query ordering, while respecting existing explicit orderby when configured. Soft-warns if common third-party order plugins are active.

- Sites that need manual order for pages, portfolios, or CPTs
- Editors who want DnD instead of typing menu_order
- Agencies replacing dedicated post-order plugins
