AI Summarize

Add a “Summarize with AI” shortcode that opens ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, or Grok with a safe page-URL prompt—no API keys or on-site AI calls.

Overview

Give readers a convenient way to explore your published content with their preferred AI service. AI Summarize adds a set of buttons that opens an external AI conversation with a prompt asking the service to read the current page, summarize it, and identify its key points. Visitors choose the provider; your WordPress site supplies the page URL rather than generating or displaying the summary itself.

Choose from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode through the Gemini option, Claude, Perplexity, and Grok. Customize the buttons, place them with a shortcode, and keep sensitive pages out of the sharing workflow. AI Summarize is a Pro module that requires an active WP PowerSuite license, but it does not require an AI API key or make on-site AI generation calls.

Five Provider Choices
Offer ChatGPT, the Gemini option using Google AI Mode, Claude, Perplexity, and Grok. Enable the providers you want and arrange their order.
No AI API Configuration
Launch a prepared conversation through the selected provider's website. WordPress does not submit page HTML to an AI generation API.
Shortcode Placement
Use [wpps_ai_summarize] to add the buttons to supported public content, with overrides for provider selection, title, alignment, size, and display.
Cleaner Shared URLs
Remove tracking and sensitive query parameters by default while keeping parameters needed to identify the page.
Sensitive-Page Exclusions
Keep the buttons off drafts, previews, password-protected posts, login screens, and WooCommerce account, cart, checkout, and order endpoints.
Flexible Button Design
Choose icons, labels, or both; adjust shape, size, alignment, heading, and whether the destination opens in a new tab.
Copy-Prompt Support
Optionally copy the prepared prompt before opening the provider. A manual-copy dialog is available when browser clipboard access is blocked.
