Updating
Update WP PowerSuite through the normal WordPress plugin update flow when an update is available (dashboard notice, Plugins screen, or your deployment pipeline).
Before you update
Section titled “Before you update”- Take a backup (files + database), or use your host’s snapshot.
- Prefer updating on staging first for production sites with many modules enabled.
- Note any custom login URL, maintenance mode, or SMTP settings so you can re-test them.
After you update
Section titled “After you update”- Confirm the plugin version under Plugins.
- Spot-check critical modules you rely on (login URL, SMTP, security headers, forms).
- Clear any full-page cache if the front end looks stale.
If an update misbehaves
Section titled “If an update misbehaves”- Roll back to the previous ZIP if needed.
- Disable the last module you changed.
- See Troubleshooting.
