- Renames the file on disk and updates the attachment record.
- Rewrites that attachment’s full-size and intermediate URLs (and matching filenames) in posts, pages, and stored metadata.
- Replaces stop at the filename boundary, so a similar name like
photo-2.jpgis not changed when you renamephoto.jpg. - Includes settings so you can tune this module for your site.
- Default renaming pattern.
- Case transformation.
- Title Case.
When to use it

How to enable it
Section titled “How to enable it”- Go to WP PowerSuite -> Modules.
- Open Media or search for “Media Rename Manager”.
- Toggle Media Rename Manager on.
- Confirm WP PowerSuite Pro is installed and your license is active.
- Open the module settings and save.
Toggle it off anytime to stop this module from loading.
How to test it
Section titled “How to test it”- Confirm Media Rename Manager is enabled under WP PowerSuite -> Modules -> Media.
- Use the feature this module controls (the admin UI, front-end behavior, upload, login flow, etc.).
- ✅ Pass: you see the module-specific behavior described above.
- ❌ Fail: re-check this module’s settings and Pro install/license, then look for another plugin doing the same job.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- No change after enabling. Confirm the toggle is on, hard-refresh, and review this module’s settings.
- A similar filename was not rewritten. Expected - only this attachment’s exact URL and filename tokens are replaced.
- Conflicts. Temporarily disable other plugins that implement the same feature.
- Locked / inactive. Install WP PowerSuite Pro beside the free plugin and activate your license.
- Unexpected side effect. Toggle Media Rename Manager off to revert, then re-enable with adjusted settings.
