Block Video Uploads
Overview
Stops selected WordPress roles from uploading video files to the Media Library. Blocks classic uploads, REST uploads, and video mime options in the media picker. Visitors are guided to embed video (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) instead of hosting large files. Choose which roles are restricted—leave roles empty and the module does not enforce blocks.

- Sites that should not host video on the WordPress server
- Agencies protecting client hosting quotas from large uploads
- Editorial workflows that prefer embeds over Media Library video
