Block Video Uploads

Blocks all video MIME types at upload time, displaying a friendly message directing users to embed videos instead. Apply to selected user roles via a multiselect.

Overview

Stops selected WordPress roles from uploading video files to the Media Library. Blocks classic uploads, REST uploads, and video mime options in the media picker. Visitors are guided to embed video (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) instead of hosting large files. Choose which roles are restricted—leave roles empty and the module does not enforce blocks.
