Download Plugin as ZIP adds a “Download ZIP” link to each plugin row on the Plugins screen. Click to download the plugin folder as a ZIP file. Useful for backups, migrations, or sharing plugins across sites without re-downloading from the repository. Only available to users with the install_plugins capability. Works with any installed plugin (from .org, premium, or custom).

How It Works

Go to WP PowerSuite, find "Download Plugin as ZIP," and click the Enable button.

Performance Note
No impact. Link is added to the Plugins screen. ZIP is created on demand when you click. No background processes.

Can I download multiple plugins at once?
No. Each download is one plugin at a time. For multiple plugins, download each separately or use a backup plugin.
