A mixed plugin list makes you look past inactive entries to find the tools currently running. This module puts that distinction into the layout: active entries come first, with inactive entries grouped below. It is useful during a client handover or a routine review, when the first task is understanding the site’s current plugin setup. The grouping is a viewing aid, not a recommendation to activate, deactivate, or delete anything.

Already-filtered views such as Active, Inactive, Recently Active, Must-Use, and Drop-ins are left alone. For a separate problem such as banners crowding the same screen, Hide Admin Notices manages supported notices rather than changing the plugin order.
