Long plugin names or translated labels can make the standard WordPress sidebar feel cramped. Wider Admin Menu expands that existing navigation area and moves the content margin with it, without asking you to rename or reorganize anything. This is one width setting, not a separate menu arrangement for each user.

The custom width is intentionally limited on smaller screens: it falls back to 160 px between 783 and 960 px, and does not apply to the mobile overlay below 783 px. It also leaves icons, folding behavior, and the top admin bar alone. For denser content rows beside the wider navigation, Compact Tables handles selected post-list spacing separately. Review your main plugin screens after changing the width, since a custom third-party layout may differ from the supported interfaces.
