A client’s WordPress timezone may differ from the clock on your computer. Having the site date, time, and timezone together in the footer gives you a quick reference when discussing a publishing window or reviewing time-sensitive content. The value comes from WordPress’s configuration rather than the viewer’s location. It is a page-rendered reference, not a scheduling tool, and it does not change PHP or WordPress timezone settings.

The display appends after right-hand footer content, including Custom Admin Footer Text. A custom message can therefore remain in place with the time reference after it. Even an empty right-hand custom footer field does not prevent this later addition.
