Hide Update Notifications
Overview
Hides update reminder nags in the admin for plugins, themes, core, and/or PHP notices—without disabling update checks or the ability to update. Empties update transient responses for display, strips menu badges, removes maintenance/update nags, adjusts update counts, and can remove the PHP nag widget / Site Health PHP version test. Soft warning if Disable All Updates is also on (different job: that one blocks updates). Defaults start with all hide toggles off.
